Blogger or Blog must meet these basic criteria

1. Blogger or Blogger’s content must be Ghanaian.
2. Blog must have existed for at least 3 months prior to application.
3. Blog must have an average of 2 posts per month to qualify.
4. To stay on the aggregator, blog must have an average of one post per month.
5. Blogs must not be libellous or plagiarized.
6. Blogs should be written in English and the Blogger’s details visible on the blog.

PS : You can only apply as a FULL member after a year with the organisation as an ORDINARY member.

 

BloggingGhana is Ghana’s biggest organization of Ghanaian bloggers or bloggers interested in Ghana. Formed in 2009, we can boast of over 200 bloggers and social media enthusiasts registered and aims to do the following;

● Serve as a forum for bloggers to network and enhance ideas.
● Build capacity among bloggers through education, fundraising and events.
● Access new audiences for members’ blogs through a mutual website and other activities.
● Promote responsible citizen journalism.
● Educate the general public on the opportunities in social media.
BloggingGhana is undoubtedly the most successful association of influential bloggers and social media exerts in Ghana. The organization has engaged the online community in Ghana to educate, sensitizes, inform and entertain individuals and organizations interested in our activities. With more than 100,000 online personalities in our network, on our Facebook, Blog, Twitter and Instagram channels, we occupy an enviable position which makes our work attractive to the civil society, corporations and individuals.
BloggingGhana’s activities and achievements have been recognized by the White House in Washington, Google, Star-Ghana and many other notable institutions. Our professionalism and knowledge has gotten us the opportunity to interact with stakeholder in the Government of Ghana, the Electoral Commission, MDs and CEO of Ghana’s club 100 brands and reps of multinationals with a presence in Ghana.

BloggingGhana has organized and encouraged more individuals in Ghana to engage more in social media activities. The organization has increased its membership to over 160 since 2009. Through events such as these, BloggingGhana seeks to increase content coming from Africa online. Our engagement with Internet users has led to an increase in the number of bloggers in the country and local content in different forms.
